Our Weekly Menus are Now Online!

Poached Chilean Sea BassIt’s always a pleasure to see the looks on our parents’ faces when they first read on the daily report that their children enjoyed “filet of Chilean Sea Bass” for lunch and realize that their children eat healthier lunches than they do!

Obviously we take great pride in our 100% organic meals and strive to make sure that each and every little sprout fills his or her tummy with clean, healthy food. Until now, however, parents didn’t know exactly what their children would be eating specifically.

In case you haven’t already noticed, our weekly menus are now posted online! The PDFs will appear on our website at this link, and you can save or print them at your convenience. It’s just one more way that we’re striving to be the premier healthy, organic daycare in Colorado Springs!

Our Teachers are Super Stars!

Super StarTo thank our teachers for going above-and-beyond, we have started a new Super Star program! Our teachers need to be reminded on a regular basis that they are appreciated. They work very hard to give our children exceptional care.

You will find envelopes outside of your teachers door with little pieces of paper you can write on. If your teacher or aide or any Little Sprouts staff does something spectacular, take a minute to write it down and give it to either Lisa or Shelly.  When we receive 5 notes on a specific staff member they will get to be “Queen for a Day,” complete with a crown, and receive a Starbucks gift card!

We have also started our Featured Teacher bulletin board in the front lobby. Take a moment to check it out and learn more about our fabulous teachers. This months featured teacher is Angie from our Bitty Sprouts room!

Absent? Late? Please let us know!

Child 1Here at Little Sprouts Learning Center, we figure out teacher ratios, staffing and meals every day based on how many children are present. This is a very important part of running our facility efficiently and providing the best care possible for each and every “sprout.” Needless to say, this logistical task becomes difficult when children are absent or dropped off later than expected!.

To better serve all of our families, we request that parents contact us ahead of time if their child or children will be either absent for the day, or dropped off late. Our cut-off times for late drop offs are 9:00am for our preschool room and 10:00am for the other rooms.

We so appreciate your business and look forward to your prompt communication regarding attendance—thank you!

We will be having an orientation for all of our preschool parents this Wednesday, August 14th, at 6:00pm. It should last from between 30 minutes and an hour. Please join us so you can learn all about your child’s coming school year!
