Help Others for a Hearty Thank You!

We all do it: if a business has wronged us, we take to the Internet with reckless abandon! We make our disappointment known via email and social media to both get the situation addressed and to warn others. Of course, that means that the Internet is, overall, a negative place when it comes to business recommendations.

We’re not perfect here at Little Sprouts, but we know that we have LOTS of happy families! Because we want you to be heard, because we want to serve you better and, yes, because we want to counter some of the negative things that people have said about us, we’re humbly asking for you to leave us a review and let others know why they should join the Little Sprouts family!

First and foremost, show your Little Sprouts love by leaving a review on Google here.

We’d also appreciate a review on: Yellow PagesFacebook, Yelp, and Foursquare – any or all!

Show us (or tell us about) your Google review the next time you drop off your Sprout(s), and we’ll show our appreciation with a “to-go” breakfast that you can munch on your way to work!

We LOVE to visit, but…

Look Who's Talking

We SO love visiting with our Little Sprouts’ parents at drop-off and pick-up times!

But…

We are asking you to limit that time to around 5 minutes or so. If you require a longer conversation with your child’s teacher, we are asking that you arrange a time in advance so that we can have staff available in the room to supervise the other children and you may have the teacher’s undivided attention.

New Infant Room Policies

Happy

Please take note of these few new guidelines for our Bitty Sprouts room:

  • Please remove shoes or wear booties over your shoes before entering the infant room.
  • We are asking parents to not leave their carseats here if at all possible. We realize that some families have one parent dropping off and another picking up and just one available carseat – that’s fine. However, so many are being left now that we just don’t have the space to store them!
  • If you bring a diaper bag, it cannot have anything in it except for: clothes, blankets, bottles, diapers and infant toys. It absolutely cannot contain: medication, hand-sanitizer, or any other items that could pose a danger to the babies.

Thank you for your cooperation!

Beloved Paperwork!

English: Paperwork

We have received almost everyone’s paperwork, and we thank you! However, there are still some families that haven’t yet turned theirs in.

The State of Colorado requires that all files contain the following paperwork:

  1. A completed and signed contract (to be updated yearly)
  2. Up-to-date shot records (due on the first day of care)
  3. A health appraisal filled out and signed by your child’s physician (due within the first 30 days of enrollment and then yearly thereafter)
  4. Income eligibility form (USDA Food Program Requirement to be updated yearly)
  5. Topical Procedures form
  6. Enrollment form with emergency information
  7. Media Use form
  8. Child Abuse Reporting form
  9. Illness Policy form

Check In, Check Out – Check!

An icon illustrating a parent and child

Please make sure that you are checking your Little Sprout(s) in and out every day! If you forget to check them in or out, the system will not work for you the next time you try.

The State of Colorado requires that parents sign their children in and out either manually or electronically every time their child is dropped off and picked up. It also helps with the process of keeping track of your children!

Try to get into the habits of signing them in before escorting them to their classroom and signing them out before picking them up from their classroom at the end of the day.

Thank you for your cooperation!

Credits-for-Care Parent Co-Op

Handshake

We are rolling out our new parent co-op program, called Credits for Care for our self-pay families and CCCAP families that have co-pays!

Here’s how it works:

For every hour of volunteer service that you perform for Little Sprouts, you will earn 1% off of your tuition for a week of your choice.

You can save your credits to get a bigger percentage off a week that you need it most, or use them as you earn them!

We will even be making some weekends available to make it easier for families to volunteer!

We have a list of things that need to be done in the office, and we’ll try to keep that list update on the website as well.
